Timothy L. O'Reilly is a highly skilled trial lawyer with extensive
experience in handling both civil and criminal matters. He has worked
in both private practice as well as government service. Timothy has an
outstanding reputation for being a professional, who is a strong and tough
advocate, and who is a true fighter for his client's cause. He has
tried dozens of cases to a jury and has an outstanding success.
In recognition of his skill and professional standards, Timothy was honored
with the recognition and rating by the prestigious Martindale-Hubble lawyer

He has successfully represented consumers and businesses in real estate
litigation, contract disputes, criminal defense, personal injury matters,
governmental administrative/licensing actions, as well as appellate work.
Much of his recent practice work has been helping consumers in real estate,
(mortgage, banking, & foreclosure), criminal defense and estate planning.
He has become recognized for his work in the area of mortgage securitization
and foreclosure defense. He has helped numerous homeowners keep their
homes through enforcement of consumer rights in our courts. He frequently
lectures on the subject of mortgage securitization and its impact on the
foreclosure crisis. He holds a a California Department of Real Estate
Broker's License, with an endorsement as a licensed Mortgage Loan
Originator from the National Mortgage Loan System, and is certified as
a Mortgage Securitization Auditor through Certified Forensic Loan Auditors.
Prior to opening his own successful practice, Timothy served as the Assistant
City Prosecutor for the City of Long Beach's Prosecutors Office, where
he supervised 20 prosecutors and held oversight responsibility for the
prosecution of literally tens of thousands of cases. Prior to this assignment,
he was privileged to work for over 15 years with two of Long Beach's
most distinguished and notable trial attorneys, Edward P. George, Jr.,
and Albert C. S. Ramsey in private civil and criminal practice.
Timothy is a past President of both the Long Beach Bar Association and
of the Long Beach Barristers. He has chaired and participated on numerous
legal and community advisory committees and has worked closely with local
Judges toward the improvement of the delivery of justice services. He
earned his law degree from Whittier College School of Law, where he was
on the Honor Roll, Dean's List, Law Review, and Moot Court Honors
Board. He is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach, with
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Public Law
Attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, Timothy also served in the United
States Army and California Army National Guard for over 25 years of military
service. He received numerous awards and decorations during his years
of outstanding service and is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and
General Staff College. He has also held membership in the Veteran's
of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and Military Officers Association of America.
